Monstrous Entertainment is a small indie game studio based in Dartmouth, NS. They are dedicated to crafting 2D and 2.5D retro-inspired games that pay tribute to the beloved classics of the '80s and '90s. With a passion for pixel art and nostalgic gameplay, the team has developed several exciting prototype games, blending modern mechanics with the charm of old-school titles. Their focus is on delivering fun, exciting entertainment that evokes the spirit of the golden age of gaming.
We began making games as an educational project in December 2019, while learning programming at Nova Scotia Community College - Institute of Technology campus in Halifax, NS, Canada.
Since then we have been applying valuable lessons we've learned in regards to project management and game development. We've been passionately developing games since then and have recently been wrapping up a complete game project, titled Unknown Space for Game Boy Color.
